Water Treatment Technician Role
GHA Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Water Treatment Technician to join our team. As a Water Treatment Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency, effectiveness, and longevity of commercial water systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct temperature checks and water sampling to ensure water quality meets regulatory standards.
- Inspect and service Temperature and Vent (TMV) systems to prevent Legionella growth.
- Perform shower cleans and disinfections, tank inspections, and chlorination works to maintain water hygiene.
- Service and replace water softeners and filters to ensure optimal water quality.
- Attend emergency call-outs during and outside normal working hours to ensure prompt response to water-related issues.
- Submit clear and concise service reports and timesheets to management.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of water treatment, water hygiene, and commercial plumbing.
- Understanding of Legionella and its prevention.
- Valid driving license to travel to client sites.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary ranging from $27k to $30k depending on experience.
- 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays.
- A pension scheme with 3% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution after 3 months of service.
- Overtime opportunities available, but not guaranteed.
