About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Consultant to join our team. As a Business Consultant, you will work closely with clients to identify opportunities for improving their Business Central/NAV functionality and ensure they gain maximum usage and benefit from the product.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct effective consultancy sessions to identify opportunities for small changes to Business Central/NAV functionality.
  2. Coordinate with all departments to ensure customer expectations are managed and exceeded in line with project deadlines, service level agreements, and quality standards.
  3. Assist clients with configuring Business Central/NAV and add-on software, conducting full system walkthroughs as needed, and attending client sites across the UK as required.
  4. Scope and recommend small changes to Business Central/NAV functionality to help clients extend the capabilities of the standard application.
  5. Address client software concerns and issues while on-site, identifying scenarios where client processes cannot be handled within the standard application and providing feedback to the project management team as needed.
  6. Perform essential project tasks such as GAP analysis, product handovers, and signing off project milestones, ensuring configurations align with client requirements and expectations.
  7. Deliver clear and effective application training to key client users across the UK during projects using standard Microsoft training materials.
  8. Conduct daily application testing and UAT support in line with service level agreements and quality standards.
  9. Contribute to business focus areas by offering constructive feedback on internal processes to improve best practices.
  10. Follow our client's methodology and project plans to deliver services that meet service level agreements and quality standards.
  11. Communicate effectively with other departments, including the project management team, to relay client concerns and ensure timely resolution in line with service level agreements and quality standards.
  12. Proactively identify and escalate risks and blockers during application training that may impact project deadlines, ensuring appropriate escalation.
  13. Be prepared to work outside regular hours, including late nights and weekends, as required by project needs.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Business Consultant with:

  • Recognised finance qualifications such as AAT Level 3.
  • Proven experience as a 'Key User' or Implementation Consultant with Dynamics NAV/Business Central.
  • Significant experience in 1st and 2nd line support.
  • Extensive knowledge of business applications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dynamics NAV/BC, Dynamics 365 for Sales, and the Microsoft Stack.
  • Knowledge of modules within Business Central/NAV and experience in business software implementation is desirable.
  • Experience working for a Microsoft Partner.
  • Experience with Training and consultancy Finance projects.
  • Power BI knowledge.
