Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at Excel Engineering Recruitment LTD. As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair on a wide range of commercial gas appliances, including forced draught, blown gas, dual fuel burners, and all aspects of commercial boiler servicing and fault finding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out PPM Schedules and meet set KPI Targets covering commercial sites, including MOJ and Highways sites.
  • Work on a mobile basis, based from home, and be responsible for emergency call-outs, with a 24-hour rota and standby allowance paid.
  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on commercial gas appliances, including boilers, burners, and other equipment.
  • Meet with clients to discuss maintenance schedules and provide technical advice.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in commercial gas engineering, with a strong understanding of gas appliances and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid gas safety certification and a strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and be on call for emergency call-outs.
