Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at Excel Engineering Recruitment ltd. As a key member of our M&E Engineering department, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair on a wide range of commercial gas appliances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out PPM Schedules and meet set KPI Targets covering commercial sites including MOJ and Highways sites.
  • 24 hour rota for emergency call out - standby allowance paid and overtime rates apply (1 in 6/7)
  • Plenty of overtime available, as is future prospects and progression
  • Enhanced Sick Pay
  • Death in Service
  • Car or Van (can be used for personal use)

About the Company

Our client is a reputable and well-established Building Services company specialising in M&E Engineering including commercial gas/HVAC maintenance. They have close working relationships with high-profile clients, ensuring long-term contracts and security.

Requirements

  • Recognised industry qualifications including gas safe/ACS commercial gas
  • Good customer services skills, well presented and articulate
  • Ability to diagnose and repair faults on commercial gas appliances
  • Experience of working on commercial gas maintenance contracts previously would be advantageous
  • Motivated and trustworthy
