Commercial Gas and Oil Engineer
Job InformationWe are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas and Oil Engineer to join our team at Excel Engineering Recruitment LTD. As a Commercial Gas and Oil Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair on a wide range of commercial gas appliances, including forced draught, blown gas, dual fuel burners, and all aspects of commercial boiler servicing and fault finding.
You will be working on a mobile basis, based from home, and will be responsible for carrying out PPM schedules and meeting set KPI targets covering commercial sites, including MOJ and Highways sites.
The successful candidate will have a recognized industry qualification, including gas safe/ACS commercial gas, and will have the ability to diagnose and repair faults on commercial gas appliances.
Experience of working on commercial gas maintenance contracts previously would be advantageous.

Candidate InformationThe ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial gas appliances and will be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and will have excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will be able to start immediately and will be required to work a 24-hour rota for emergency call-outs, with standby allowance paid and overtime rates applying.
