Job Title: Director of Faculty Operations

We are seeking an exceptional strategic and operational leader to join our team as the Director of Faculty Operations (DFO). This role plays a central part in shaping our strategic direction and driving cultural and organisational change across the University.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and deliver University-wide change initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring effective implementation of new structures and practices within the Faculty.
  • Provide visionary leadership for professional services, ensuring a seamless service delivery model for staff, students, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the Faculty's strategic planning processes and offer strategic insights to the Leadership Team, monitoring progress against key performance indicators.
  • Drive major pan-institutional change programs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with Finance and HR Business Partners to manage budgets and workforce plans, aligning with the University's objectives.
  • Play a vital role in projects across the University, supporting the effective implementation of the institutional strategy.
Requirements:
  • Proven senior leadership in large public/private organisations, achieving results and guiding teams to success.
  • Expertise in multi-disciplinary leadership, fostering collaboration for collective goals.
  • Substantial financial management experience, driving strategic decisions and optimising resources.
