Key Responsibilities- Drive Safety Excellence: Proactively influence correct behaviors through effective communication, education, and leadership.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with employees, clients, and the supply chain to promote sustainable improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop Safe Systems of Work: Support the production of high-quality Construction Phase Plans, Environmental Management Plans, Risk Assessments, and Works Package Plans.
- Deliver Toolbox Talks: Develop and deliver comprehensive toolbox talks to ensure employees are aware of their responsibilities and the importance of safety.
- Monitor Performance: Review and report on performance and compliance against the Business Management System.
- Investigate Incidents: Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, ensuring actions are completed and lessons are learned.
- Communicate Effectively: Maintain a high level of professional engagement and communication with internal peers to ensure a consistent approach to SHE.
- Liaise with Clients: Work with clients to ensure required standards are met and promote best practice.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role and working environment (Civil Engineering/Construction).
- Knowledge: Good knowledge of a wide range of SHE current best practice.
- Skills: Confident leadership, effective communication, and strong influencing skills.
- Qualifications: NEBOSH Certificate, Environmental Awareness Training, Investigation Training, and a Full Driving Licence.
