Job Summary

This is an outstanding opportunity to join our SEN School in Grantham, Lincolnshire as a qualified teacher with experience of teaching pupils with SEMH needs. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual who can provide support and guidance to a number of vulnerable young people aged 8-18 years.

The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status and a degree qualification or equivalent. They should also have demonstrable achievements in excellence as a teacher and experience of teaching Key Stages 2-5. Additionally, they should possess expert knowledge of innovative pedagogy, assessment without levels, and effective strategies to manage pupil behaviour.

Key Responsibilities
  • To teach a range of subjects to pupils with SEMH needs
  • To assess pupil progress and develop effective strategies to close the gap
  • To work collaboratively with other teachers and teaching assistants to ensure effective deployment of resources
  • To establish and maintain constructive relationships with parents/carers, staff, and the local community
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £27,256 to £42,654 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications. Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree qualification or equivalent
  • Demonstrable achievements in excellence as a teacher
  • Experience of teaching Key Stages 2-5
  • Expert knowledge of innovative pedagogy, assessment without levels, and effective strategies to manage pupil behaviour
