About the Role
The MDT Coordinator will provide critical support to the Cancer Services team, facilitating MDT meetings and administrative tasks to ensure seamless patient pathways.
Main Responsibilities
- Facilitate and organize MDT meetings, ensuring timely discussion and tracking of patient pathways.
- Collate and process patient information, maintaining accurate records and data.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient pathways, aligning with national targets.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Manage competing priorities, ensuring efficient service delivery and exceptional organizational skills.

Requirements
- Strong understanding of national cancer standards and local applications.
- Excellent knowledge of patient pathways across all tumour sites.
- Ability to track patients through their cancer pathway, ensuring timely progression and meeting national standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a larger team.
