About the Role

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their Cancer Services team as an MDT Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity to build skills and knowledge within a fast-paced service and develop a career pathway with the NHS.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide behind-the-scenes support to patients referred to the hospital to exclude a diagnosis of cancer. They will assist in improving pathways for suspected and diagnosed cancer patients, facilitating and supporting MDT meetings, and performing administrative duties to guide patients through the CWT pathway in line with national targets.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with staff at all levels associated with multi-disciplinary team working. They will need to work well as part of a larger team, have the ability to work autonomously, and be able to multi-task. Attention to detail, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to manage changing priorities are essential.
