We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Purchasing Assistant Apprentice to join our dynamic team in Great Yarmouth. As a key member of the Procurement Department, you will play a vital role in supporting our supply chain relationships and ensuring the smooth operation of our purchasing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering and transferring calls with a professional manner and taking accurate messages.
  • Assist in fielding and handling purchasing queries, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Support the Category Managers with daily tasks, including raising purchase orders and collating credit card invoices.
  • Collaborate with the team to expedite outstanding purchase orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as filing and scanning documents, and ordering internal use items.
  • Participate in internal product training courses to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute to additional duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
