Teach English with Passion and Creativity
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team in a specialist secondary school. As an experienced educator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering inspiring English lessons to students with a range of special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver differentiated English lessons tailored to meet the unique needs of students with special educational needs.
- Work closely with the SENCo, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with colleagues to utilize innovative teaching methods and resources to support students with diverse learning styles and needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization or significant experience in SEN education.
- Proven track record of teaching English, ideally to students with SEN in a secondary school or specialist setting.
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies, inclusive teaching practices, and behavior management techniques.
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
