Job Title: Application Architect

Job Summary:

Axiom Software Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Application Architect to lead the design and implementation of our application and data observability platform. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, data observability, and cross-platform pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a single pane view of application and data observability across the bank, reducing technology landscape and improving issue resolution times.
  • Develop indepth experience and knowledge of data observability, including logs, metrics, traces, data contents pipeline, users, and usage.
  • Implement application observability tools, such as Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, and Open Telemetry.
  • Understand the data observability landscape in the market, including Acceldata, IBM Databand, Monte Carlo, and Collibra.
  • Design and implement cross-platform pipelines using technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Hive, Big Query, and GCS.
  • Integrate data observability tooling with pipelines and create architecture proposals for CIO-level approval.
  • Work with senior stakeholders to consolidate use cases and create business cases showing value and cost savings for adopting a single application and data observability approach.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in cloud architecture and data observability.
  • Experience with application observability tools and cross-platform pipelines.
  • Knowledge of data observability landscape and ability to design and implement a single pane view.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
