Junior Project Manager in Nuclear Sector

This position entails overseeing the execution of projects from inception to completion within the UK Nuclear New Build sector. The ideal candidate will guarantee that projects adhere to regulatory standards, fulfill client requirements, and are finalized within the designated timeline and budget.

Ideal Candidate Profile
This role is well-suited for an Assistant Project Manager, Junior Project Manager, or Project Coordinator with a background in Nuclear energy and a track record of managing intricate projects. Applicants should possess outstanding communication abilities, a solid grasp of project management methodologies, and the capability to lead teams efficiently. Experience in a manufacturing context and proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of French is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee all facets of the project, including safety, quality, timeline, and budget, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Develop and articulate project scope, financial strategy, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Delegate tasks and determine resource needs.
  • Direct operational, financial, and technological elements of projects according to established timelines and work plans.
  • Engage extensively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to foster effective working relationships.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator in highly regulated industries.
  • Experience in the Nuclear sector is highly advantageous.
  • Degree in a relevant field.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Contract Compensation: approximately £35 per hour (PAYE) OR £46 per hour (Umbrella)
Initial Contract Duration: 3 months with a strong likelihood of extension
Location: Flexible with travel requirements
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
