Your Role

As a Nuclear Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading nuclear energy projects through their lifecycle, from inception to completion. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing project plans, including scope, schedule, cost, risk management, and communication plans.
  • Leading project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with nuclear industry regulations, standards, and safety requirements.
  • Communicating project status and issues to stakeholders, including project team members, clients, and senior management.
  • Contract management (Claims and variations).
  • Leading and supporting the preparation of offers and bids.
Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Master's degree in engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience within the nuclear energy sector.
  • Experience in managing multidisciplinary projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the nuclear energy industry, including its stakeholders, key competitors, clients, and regulations.
  • Strong engineering and technical skills in your field of engineering, demonstrated by a minimum of 5 years of proven experience.
  • A commitment to continuous learning to stay updated with new technologies and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of nuclear industry regulations and standards.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, such as PMBOK or PRINCE2.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Experience in tender management and bid preparation.
