Project Engineer

Framatome is a leading provider of nuclear services in the UK, with a strong presence in Bristol and occasional travel to HPC. We are currently expanding our team and seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our project team in Bristol.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring project deliverables are delivered in line with contractual obligations and project expectations. This will involve coordinating with various departments and project managers to set the direction and coordination of design and engineering aspects of the project.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Confirming client specifications between the project team and engineering disciplines.
- Coordinating design requirements with the design team, including drawings, tools/equipment, materials, and specific design requirements for the project lifecycle.
- Liaising with Project Controls on the design schedule, risks, and reporting as required.
- Ensuring Framatome Ltd is supported technically and controlled according to best practices, meets customer requirements, and minimizes risks for the business.
- Liaising with the Quality Manager on effectively investigating NCRs and assisting with the effective close out.
We are looking for a degree-qualified individual with relevant experience in the nuclear sector or other heavy, highly regulated industries. Experience with site surveys, workshop fabrication, and erection would be beneficial, as would experience with AutoCAD, 2D and 3D mechanical design, and 3D models and constructability reviews. Understanding of welding and fabrication processes is also essential.
