Job Title: Head and Neck Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Head and Neck Cancer team at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert clinical practice for patients with head and neck cancer, working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care and support.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and provide expert specialist clinical practice for outpatients and inpatients
  • Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure delivery of high-quality care
  • Develop and strengthen links across cancer networks
  • Support research projects to improve patient care and treatment

Key Requirements:

  • Current NMC registration with no restrictions to practice
  • Degree with relevance to specialism
  • Education at Masters degree level (L7) or above in specialism
  • Qualification in Teaching/Mentoring
  • Commitment to study if not already a non-medical prescriber
