Job Title: Head of Global Government Relations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Global Government Relations to join our team at the Wellcome Trust. As a key member of our Government Relations and Strategic Partnerships team, you will play a critical role in shaping our global government relations strategy and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global government relations strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, policymakers, and stakeholders to advance our mission and interests.
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to our leadership team on government relations matters.
  • Lead and manage a team of government relations professionals to ensure effective delivery of our government relations objectives.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of global health policy and advocacy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
