The position of HORIBA Professor of Advanced Propulsion and Director of the Advanced Propulsion Lab is a key appointment that will drive research and teaching in the area of advanced propulsion, with a focus on decarbonizing the transport sector.

The successful candidate will lead research efforts, publish high-quality papers, secure funding, and establish partnerships with industry, academia, and government to advance the field of advanced propulsion.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, chemistry, physics, or a relevant discipline, with a proven track record of research and scholarship, and excellent leadership and management skills.

They will be able to motivate and guide research students and junior colleagues, and establish a leading research presence within UCL.
