Position Overview

The Senior Financial Manager holds comprehensive financial responsibility for the operations, ensuring that the financial outcomes align with the company's strategic objectives.

Reporting to the Regional Financial Director and collaborating closely with the Plant Operations Manager, the Senior Financial Manager will lead the local finance team at one of the largest facilities. Embracing a Business Partner approach, you will ensure precise reporting of all operational and statutory financial statements, alongside the development and assessment of all business forecasts, quarterly performance reviews, and annual operating plans.

This role is well-suited for a motivated and innovative finance professional eager to instigate change within a progressive organization.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

  • At least 5 years of accounting or financial experience, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering context.
  • Possession of a recognized professional finance qualification.
  • Experience managing the financial implications and results of various business or commercial challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial areas, identify control deficiencies, and propose improvement strategies.
  • Proven leadership experience with both direct and indirect reporting structures.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles related to Lean Manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet applications, MS Office, and various ERP systems, with knowledge of financial consolidation tools (e.g., SAP BPC, Hyperion).
