Job Title: Deputy Director Policy

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Deputy Director to join our team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of our capital programme and ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects.

About the Role

The Deputy Director will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to the capital team, working closely with stakeholders to develop and implement effective project management methodologies. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring complex programmes, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project management methodologies to ensure effective delivery of capital projects.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the capital team, working closely with stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Manage and monitor programme performance, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and engagement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including service leads, staff, and external partners.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in capital programme management, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
