Job Title: Deputy Director of Adult Social Care

Service Care Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Deputy Director of Adult Social Care. This is a permanent position based in Salford, and we are looking for someone who can lead our digital curriculum development and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead on curriculum development and delivery, ensuring high-quality standards across our digital curriculum.
  2. Teach within the Computing and IT team, utilizing your expertise in vocational and T-Level qualifications.
  3. Monitor student performance and collaborate with the Curriculum Manager to improve retention, attendance, and achievement.
  4. Maintain close working relationships with the progress team, Learning Leaders, and Digital Leaders to address underachievement and attendance issues.
  5. Plan and oversee the creation of clear schemes of work and high-quality assignments for all curriculum programs.
  6. Assist the Head of Department in staff deployment for curriculum delivery.
  7. Manage, develop, and coach staff where appropriate and lead curriculum meetings, training, and professional development.
  8. Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  9. Experience of delivering a BTEC program or an AS/A2 subject.
  10. Ability to effectively monitor student attainment and use data to improve performance.
  11. Excellent communication and interpersonal & organisational skills.
  12. Knowledge of the assessment process of GCSE and Functional Skills qualifications.
  13. Subject specialism knowledge related to Maths and English curriculum.
  14. Flexible team player.
  15. An ability to meet all the objectives outlined in the job description for the post.
  16. Commitment and responsibility to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
  17. Commitment to College policies i.e. Health & Safety & Equality and Diversity & Inclusion.
  18. DBS Check acceptable to the college will be undertaken for successful applicant.
