Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education - Lincoln. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in a Primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build positive relationships with students, ensuring a supportive learning environment.
  • Provide tailored support to meet the individual needs of each child, particularly those with special educational needs.
  • Assist with classroom activities led by the teacher and provide additional support wherever necessary.
  • Work closely with students who have special needs, ensuring their safety and supporting their engagement with the curriculum.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students under the teacher's direction, helping them progress academically and socially.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • GCSEs or equivalent are essential.
  • A-levels, Degree, or Master's degree are desirable but not mandatory.
  • Experience working with children, whether in or outside of a school setting, or with vulnerable adults.
