Teaching Assistant Position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to support our teaching team at St. Andrew's Church of England Primary School.

About the Role

This part-time position involves working as a teaching assistant for 20 hours per week, supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons to Key Stage 2 students.

The successful candidate will need to be able to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and show empathy towards the needs of our pupils.

Requirements
  • A relevant qualification in learning support or equivalent experience
  • Literacy and numeracy skills to GCSE or equivalent level
  • An ability to build positive relationships with children and colleagues
  • A willingness to adapt to the needs of the classroom and provide tailored support
