About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Reading Mentor to support our students in achieving their reading goals. As a Reading Mentor, you will work closely with students aged 11-16, providing individualized support to help them become independent learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in reading development, focusing on KS3-4 curriculum
  • Monitor student progress, setting and reviewing targets to ensure individualized support
  • Work closely with students to develop their reading skills, using a range of strategies and resources
  • Collaborate with teachers to ensure seamless support and progress tracking
