Role Overview

CHC Helicopters is seeking a highly skilled B1.3 Licensed Engineer to join our team of professionals responsible for maintaining our fleet of helicopters. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures for aircraft maintenance;
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft components;
  • Supervise and mentor junior technicians to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols;
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities;
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, technical advancements, and regulatory changes;
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and efficiency;
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • UKCAA Part 66 Licence, preferably with a S92 and/or H175 Type Rating;
  • Strong understanding of aircraft systems, mechanics, and materials;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficiency in AMOS MRO software or similar maintenance management systems;
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Ability to pass a disclosure Scotland check and obtain an airport security pass.
