Backed by significant investments from their partners, our client has ambitious growth objectives. The Sales Team has been the driving force behind the company's remarkable growth, effectively doubling in size each year.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will be a charismatic relationship-builder with an exceptional reputation and a proven track record of selling complex solutions to the life sciences industry. In this role, you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Analytics, and IT to transform their commercial model through AI and ML software implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Nurture Strategic Partnerships: Focus on transforming healthcare globally by developing and nurturing your own set of prospects and customers.
- Guide Customers in AI Adoption: Help life sciences customers leverage AI to enhance commercial performance.
- Collaborate with Team and Technology Partners: Work closely with team members and technology partners to inform customers about the best practices for using software and services to enhance their go-to-market strategies.
Key Performance Indicators
- Contract Bookings: Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Growth of Accounts and New Logos: Expand existing customer relationships and acquire new customers.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective issue resolution and proactive communication.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven history of selling large contracts to life science companies.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with introducing customers to analytics, CRM, or other complex products.
- Sales Process Navigation: Expertise in managing large, complex sales processes.
- Performance History: Consistent top performance and achievement.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate and persuade effectively.
- Industry Experience: 5-10 years of sales experience in the life sciences environment, selling to sales, marketing, analytics, and/or IT departments.
Preferred Qualifications
- SaaS Platforms: Experience selling SaaS platforms to commercial pharma.
- AI/ML Solutions: Track record of selling AI/ML solutions to commercial pharma.
