Commodities QIS Structurer

This position is part of the Global Markets Division (MARK) of SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA, within the engineering department in London. The team brings together the Equities, Fixed Income & Currencies, and Commodities structuring capabilities to provide investors with integrated multi-asset market solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Research and develop systematic strategies in an index format in cooperation with the relevant Business Lines, focusing on commodity underlyings, with the objectives of:
- Maximizing profitability (P&L MARK associated with products linked to systematic strategies),
- Ensuring the robustness and sustainability of the risk-return profile,
- Building portfolios of systematic strategies with a specific investment objective,
- Providing all necessary information to the governance team (ISP).
- Promoting the QIS offer in a proactive manner (internal communication, push to sales team, client meetings).
- Providing technical support and training to sales, pricing, and trading teams.
- Strong programming skills (Python).
- Strong skills in quantitative finance.
- Strong knowledge of Commodities as an asset class.
- Operational skills.
