About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized HR Administrator to join our dedicated team in Newcastle under Lyme. As an HR Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR Team with all employment-related matters, ensuring the Charity and its people operate within the confines of relevant legislation, and providing an effective and efficient HR Service across all Charity Departments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the HR Team with employment-related matters, including recruitment, fleet management, payroll, pension, and benefits.
  2. Process new starters and leavers, create new starter packs, and conduct pre-employment checks.
  3. Assist with disciplinary and grievance processes, maintain accurate sickness and absence records, and assist with payroll preparation and benefits management.
  4. Chase, obtain, and log all HR documentation, arrange and facilitate induction for new employees, and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  5. Assist with recruitment across all departments, placing adverts, tracking applicants, and arranging interviews.
About the Rewards

The Charity offers a range of benefits, including a salary of up to £26,000 per annum, 27 days annual leave per annum, Charity worker discounts, and a Recommend a Friend scheme.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a positive 'can-do' attitude, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to plan and prioritize workloads. You will also have GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) and excellent IT skills.
