Learning Disability Nurse Primary Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Learning Disability Nurse to join our team in Plymouth. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and leadership skills.
Job Description- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment safely and effectively, working with medical teams, patients, and carers.
- Manage risk and ensure comprehensive risk assessments are in place for patients and staff.
- Prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately to assist patients in complex situations.
- Provide line management and caseload supervision to other team members as required.
- Maintain professional registration and participate in regular supervision and performance management development processes.
- Act as a mentor to students and colleagues, guiding practice and assessing competence.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant area, supplemented by significant specialist training.
- Evidence of maintaining a portfolio.
- Effective communication skills, including written, verbal, and electronic formats.
- Comprehensive IT skills.

Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this role is approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
