We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Green Folk LTD. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading manufacturing company, providing technical support to their manufacturing process. You will be responsible for delivering conforming products on time in full (OTIF) to meet customer commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Optimization: Directly support manufacturing operations to deliver products right first time, achieving optimum process efficiencies.
  • Quality Control: Eradicate process variability and implement robust process controls, including the support of New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Stakeholder Management: Interface with internal and external stakeholders to represent the process engineering team and wider company.
  • Material Review: Contribute to the material review boards and reduction in concession applications.
  • Compliance: Ensure processes are compliant with customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Education: Degree-educated engineer (or suitable experience) with experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Communication: Effective and confident communicator with experience in presenting technical proposals to a diverse population of colleagues.
  • Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of key engineering tools, industry gateways, and metrics such as SQDCP, APQP/ PPAP, MSA, PPS/ 8D, PFMEA, SPC.
