Adecco is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative with a Forklift Licence to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:- Picking and Packing: Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to efficiently pick and pack orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Order Preparation: Prepare and complete orders for shipment, adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Stock Management: Receive and process stock products using the WMS, maintaining good in/goods out procedures.
- Inventory Control: Assist with stock replenishment, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
- Delivery Coordination: Book in deliveries and communicate any issues or discrepancies to management.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to Health and Safety Standards.
- Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong verbal communication skills.
- Forklift Licence: Forklift Licence (Bendi/Pivot Steer preferred, but at least Reach and Counterbalance) is required.
- Dependability and Reliability: Dependable and reliable, with a diligent attention to detail.
- Numerical Skills and Computer Literacy: Excellent numerical skills and computer literacy, with experience using a Warehouse Management System and bar code scanner.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive mindset and ability to work under pressure.
- Physical Demands: Loading and unloading goods from vehicles, stacking goods in correct racking/storage bays, handling empty pallets, and picking and packing onto pallets and cartons for courier collections.
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a 45-minute unpaid lunch break and 2 x 15-minute tea breaks (am and pm).
