Sports Coach Job Description

U-Educate is seeking a qualified Sports Coach to implement the school sport programme effectively, promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyles among students aged 6-18.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement the school sport programme, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils.
  • Teach students about safety in sports settings, such as swimming pools, athletics fields, and gymnasiums.
  • Develop and deliver engaging coaching sessions, promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyles.
  • Manage class behaviour, motivate, and encourage all pupils to participate.
  • Plan and mark lessons, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning.
Requirements:
  • Interest and enthusiasm for various sports.
  • Good spoken communication skills and the ability to inspire confidence and motivate performance.
  • Ability to analyse problems and demonstrate perseverance and patience.
  • Good organisational skills and a sensitive, supportive approach.
  • First aid skills and excellent team working abilities.
