Job Title: Sports Coach

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team at a good mixed secondary school in the Birmingham area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students across KS3 and KS4 PE and may gain some general cover lessons across all subjects.

The Role:
  • Support students across KS3 and KS4 PE
  • Gain some general cover lessons across all subjects
  • Help students to access the curriculum and avoid disruption to others in the classroom
Requirements:
  • Level 2 Diploma in Sport
  • Level 3 Extended Certificate in Sports Coaching
  • Previous experience working with 11-16 year old's
  • Interest in sports and ideally experience mentoring or coaching under 16 year old's
  • Positive attitude and desire to work in education
  • Confidence managing behaviour within a classroom setting
  • Passionate and hard-working individual with the capacity to work with a variety of ability students

The school has on-site parking and excellent public transport links from Birmingham and surrounding areas. The school is very welcoming, with a supportive senior leadership team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Sports Coach to gain experience working in a secondary school setting. If you haven't had lots of experience working in schools but have over 12 months coaching in sports with under 16 year old's, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Pay rates available are between £(Apply online only) per day dependant on experience.
