Your new role at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a successful secondary school in the Preston area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide support and assistance to pupils, working on a 1:1 basis with students who have ADHD or ASD. Your role will involve building relationships with pupils and staff, and you will be responsible for providing consistent support for pupils who need extra help.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance to pupils in the classroom
  • Work on a 1:1 basis with students who have ADHD or ASD
  • Build relationships with pupils and staff
  • Provide consistent support for pupils who need extra help

Requirements:

  • Recent experience working with children, ideally with SEN children
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
