About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Education Support Professional to join our team at Oakfield House School. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and well-being of our pupils with autism and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils with their learning and development through fun and engaging activities.
- Managing daily schedules, including activities, breaks, and rest time.
- Providing emotional and physical support to pupils, including feeding, toileting, and changing.
- Ensuring the education environment is safe and conducive to learning.
- Working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure the needs of each pupil are met.
Requirements
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths, and grade C or above in English or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with autism and complex needs.
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide emotional support to pupils.
