About the Job:

We are seeking a Catering Service Assistant to join our team in Northamptonshire. As a Catering Service Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Serve customers in a polite, friendly, and efficient manner, ensuring all interactions are professional and positive.
  • Team Collaboration: Work as part of a close-knit team, contributing to a smooth and efficient food service operation.
  • Basic Food Preparation: Assist in simple food preparation tasks, helping the kitchen team when necessary to maintain the high standards expected.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure the kitchen, service areas, and restaurant are kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Cash Handling & Promotions: Operate the cashiering system efficiently and assist with vending services. Participate in and promote unit sales and special offers to enhance customer engagement.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Experience in a similar catering or food service role is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Transport: Due to the location of the site, having reliable transport is essential.

Salary: £12.00 per hour (PAYE) or £13.45 per hour including holiday pay.
