Job Title: Registered Care Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Care Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest quality of care for our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our domiciliary care services, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintaining our outstanding rating.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the overall growth of the business, ensuring financial efficiency without compromising on care quality.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to all clients, developing and implementing care plans that meet individual needs.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and other relevant legislation, recruiting, training, and managing care staff to foster a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Conduct regular staff supervisions and appraisals to maintain high performance standards, liaising with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and continuity of care.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, leading by example and promoting a culture of excellence, respect, and compassion within the team.
  • Handle any complaints or incidents, ensuring they are resolved promptly and effectively, continuously assessing and improving service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a managerial role within domiciliary care registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care).
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and other relevant legislation, excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities, compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
  • Full UK driving licence.
