Job Opportunity for a Senior Therapist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Therapist to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. This role offers the ideal candidate the opportunity to work with children and young people with complex mental health problems, providing specialist individual interventions and clinical supervision.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high level of expertise and experience in therapeutic work with parents/carers/families of children and young people. As a Senior Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients, as well as providing clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offering assessment and evidence-based treatment for young people up to age 18 years with complex mental health presentations.
  • Providing specialist individual interventions with a wide range of children and young people, from 3 to 19 years old, presenting problems at the most severe end of the spectrum.
  • Clinical supervision and consultation to junior staff members.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a post-graduate training qualification in arts psychotherapy, clinical psychology, family therapy, or child and adolescent psychotherapy, and be eligible for registration as a full member of the appropriate professional body (HCPC, BACP, UKCP AFT, ACP).
