About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Analytics Director to join our Revenue and Analytics Team within Finance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting the agenda, managing the scope of work, and driving alignment around a credible story for Finance within Capital One UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with key stakeholders to produce data and insights that drive the future business direction
  • Steer the UK Strategic Planning process, ensuring that any risks or opportunities are effectively communicated and understood
  • Provide support, development, and guidance to your team
  • Carry out regular performance reviews and development plans with your team to nurture their personal and professional growth
  • Develop the next generation of finance talent within the finance department
Requirements
  • Experienced finance professional with significant experience in a financial services industry or similar business
  • Experience coaching and managing people; Running a team to an excellent standard
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize a large amount of data into key themes and trends, spotting any anomalies and building a comprehensive story
  • Advanced financial modeling and strong data skills
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and influencing skills
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and connecting a variety of inputs and stakeholders to form a credible story
  • Able to learn new subject matter quickly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks effectively
