About this role

We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Analytics Director to join our Revenue and Analytics Team within Finance. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for setting the agenda for the team, managing the scope of work based on existing and future priorities for the business, and driving alignment around a credible story for Finance within Capital One UK.

Key responsibilities
  • Partner with key stakeholders in the business to produce data and insights that drive the future business direction
  • Steer the UK Strategic Planning process, ensuring that any risks or opportunities are effectively communicated and understood
  • Provide support, development, and guidance to your team
  • Carry out regular performance reviews and development plans with your team to nurture their personal and professional growth
  • Develop the next generation of finance talent within the finance department
Requirements
  • Experienced finance professional, with significant experience in a financial services industry or similar business
  • Experience coaching and managing people; Running a team to an excellent standard
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize a large amount of data into key themes and trends, spotting any anomalies and building a comprehensive story
  • Advanced financial modeling and strong data skills
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and influencing skills
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and connecting a variety of inputs and stakeholders to form a credible story
  • Able to learn new subject matter quickly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks effectively
