Primary SEN Support Specialist

Academics Ltd is a leading educational institution seeking a talented Inclusive Learning Consultant to join their dynamic team. This exciting opportunity comes with a competitive salary of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the RoleIn this critical position, you will lead on all aspects of SEN provision within the school, ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice. You will identify and assess the needs of students with special educational needs and develop tailored plans to support their progress.
The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and additional SENCo qualification or willingness to undertake training. A strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and current best practices in SEN support is essential.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on effective teaching methods for students with diverse needs
- Monitor and evaluate the progress and attainment of SEN students, ensuring interventions are effective and responsive
- Foster an inclusive environment by promoting positive behaviour management strategies and supporting mental well-being across the school
