Müller UK & Ireland is a leading dairy company with a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and compliance. We are seeking a highly skilled Driver Trainer to join our team and support our drivers in developing their skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of our drivers through training and coaching, focusing on safe and fuel-efficient driving practices.
- Deliver periodic training requirements for our drivers, ensuring they meet the necessary standards for compliance.
- Work with the Lead Driver Trainer to support safety roadshows, local driver forums, and national events.
- Promote and deliver driver development programs, including safe and fuel-efficient driving aligned to performance indicators.
- Support internal LGV training opportunities and carry out pre-employment driver assessments for both permanent and agency drivers.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and GDPR rules, as well as supporting Company SSoW processes and associated documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate data within the Tachomaster analysis compliance system.
- Support the Lead Driver Trainer in completing and supporting EU and RTWTD infringement remedial action.
- Complete post-accident remedial training and communicate effectively with compliance teams and transport teams to determine best practice.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Dairy Transport Assurance Scheme (DTAS) regulations.
- Ability to deliver all aspects of new driver induction training and existing driver development training.
- Experience in training and coaching drivers, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with drivers, compliance teams, and transport teams.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and data within the Tachomaster analysis compliance system.
