We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Conference & Banqueting Assistant to join our team at Malmaison. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of conferences, banquets, and other events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Anticipate delegates' needs and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a seamless experience.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and conference and events manager to coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of events.
- Assist with event setup, including arranging tables, chairs, and audiovisual equipment.
- Monitor and control the flow of events to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic knowledge of event planning and coordination.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
