About the Role:
Thrifty Car & Van Rental, the largest privately owned leasing company in the UK, is seeking a skilled HR Administrator to join our team at our Head Office in Exeter. As a key member of our dedicated and busy HR team, you will be responsible for providing a first-class HR administration service to managers and employees.
Main Responsibilities:
• Provide proactive support to the HR team to align with the department and company's business objectives
• Collaborate with managers to facilitate effective handling of new employee onboarding, address basic disciplinary matters, manage HR queries, administer contract changes, and oversee various HR processes
• Address HR queries from employees and line managers promptly, ensuring a consistently exceptional employee experience throughout the entire employment lifecycle
• Ensure the consistent, fair, and professional application of procedures in accordance with current legislation and company policies
• Advocate for and utilize HR and Payroll systems, both internally within the HR team and in collaboration with line managers and their teams
• Handle incoming inquiries and correspondence through letters, telephone calls, and emails
Requirements:
• Good understanding of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
• HR admin support experience
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team, in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask
