About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pipeline Technical Director to join our team at DNEG. As a key member of our Production Technology department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our tools, software, and workflows used on our award-winning VFX and Feature Animation shows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical advice and support to artists, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to deliver high-quality work.
  • Collaborate with R&D developers and senior production supervisors to develop new Python tools and workflows, meeting the specific requirements of our shows.
  • Contribute to the development and constant improvement of our DNEG pipeline, ensuring it remains efficient and effective.
  • Ensure requests for new tools are connected with company strategy, aligning with our goals and objectives.

About You

  • Critical eye for details, with a strong understanding of the Visual Effects pipeline.
  • Proactive and team-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
  • Adaptable and calm under pressure, with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in Python, Maya, and Linux.
