The University of Leeds is seeking a skilled Development Manager to lead the delivery of complex capital projects and programmes. This role will be responsible for ensuring the optimal management of these projects, from briefing to completion, and will work closely with stakeholders to achieve the University's strategic spatial requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of capital projects and programmes, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including external partners, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues across the Facilities Directorate, including capital project managers and technical specialists.
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the project team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver the project.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered in line with the University's governance gateway process and that all necessary approvals are obtained.
