Endoscopy Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Endoscopy Nurse Associate to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our endoscopy unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
The ideal candidate will have recent acute NHS experience and a strong understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate in the context of the nursing and interdisciplinary team. They will also possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to provide evidence of personal and professional development, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient-focused care.
In this role, you will work closely with our clinical educator to become competent in assisting with a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures. You will also have access to bespoke courses to progress your knowledge and experience in this field.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our state-of-the-art JAG accredited Endoscopy Unit, which is one of the largest Endoscopy Departments in the North West. You will have the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you can develop your skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
About the Role:
- Assist with a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures
- Work closely with our clinical educator to develop your skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care
- Develop effective relationships with patients, relatives, and carers
- Support, supervise, and assess nursing associate students and other learners as required
Requirements:
- Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC Register with a Foundation Degree
- GCSEs Grade C or above in Maths and English Language / New GCSE Grade 4-9 in Maths and English Language OR Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English or Equivalent (not entry level 2)
