Job Description

Key Objectives:

  • To operate in a team environment with a focus on partnering with Business Unit leadership and Operations team to drive optimal performance.
  • To assist in the effective management of projects through compliance with company procedures whilst delivering best practices and applying Project Management principles.
  • To ensure that cash management activities are a constant focus with a continuous pursuit of improving cash flow by maximizing billing and debt collection on projects.
  • To drive continuous improvement in the development of Financial Processes and Financial systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports and transfers knowledge on project financials to Line Manager and Project Manager.
  • Manages collection and dispute management processes and collaborates with project stakeholders (including the Legal Department).
  • Continues monitoring and improvement of processes for project reporting, administration, and control.
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to train colleagues.
  • Coordinates with Corporate Accounting and their objectives.
  • Monitors receivables, follows up on collections, and updates Collections Module to help forecast timing of invoicing and estimated collection dates.

Requirements:

  • Post-graduate qualifications an advantage (CPA/CA/CIMA).
  • Demonstrated technical, commercial, and delivery acumen.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
