ATA Panel Beater Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ATA Panel Beater to join our team at Clear Automotive. As a key member of our accident repair centre, you will be responsible for repairing and replacing bodywork panels of damaged vehicles according to manufacturer's literature and modification bulletins.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair or replace bodywork panels of damaged vehicles according to instructions received or details on the job card.
  • Strip and fit panels and bodywork.
  • Efficiently repair vehicles, checking on completion to ensure there are no defects.
  • Panel straightening and filler to repair dents.
  • Replacement of panels.
  • Welding and bonding of vehicle structure.
  • Removing and replacing complete body shell.
  • Adhere to manufacturer's literature and modification bulletins as appropriate to the repair and to the replacement of chassis and panel work.
  • Ensure that all equipment used, including jigs, fixtures, and welding equipment, is operated in accordance with defined safety requirements.
Requirements:
  • A working and demonstrable knowledge of vehicle panel repairs.
  • Relevant panel qualifications - IMI 3, NVQ 3, or ATA Panel Beater Accreditation desirable but not essential.
  • Panel beater experience is required.
